University of Wales in the UK, which was founded by Royal Charter in 1893, is a large and distinctive federal University currently comprising 9 Member Institutions with more than 100 schools and departments, whose activities it exists to support and which are closely involved in its governance. These institutions are: University of Wales, Aberystwyth; University of Wales, Bangor; Swansea University; University of Wales, Lampeter; University of Wales, Newport; North East Wales Institute of Higher Education; Swansea Institute of Higher Education; Trinity College, Carmarthen; Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. The University is the degree-awarding authority not only for its member institutions, but also for around 70 other higher education institutions both within the United Kingdom and overseas, with which it also enjoys close links. Annually, it awards almost 15,000 initial degrees and more than 4,500 higher degrees, making it the second largest degree-awarding body in the United Kingdom. Almost the full range of subjects is covered in its diverse range of institutions.  Together, the member institutions of University of Wales and its validated schemes of study result in a thriving student population of nearly 100,000 among 25 countries all over the world.

威尔士大学评审局 The University’s Validation Operation

“评审是指评定受审机构的课程质量及水平是否达到颁发学位大学的要求和标准。”（质量保证局）

大部分学生在威尔士就读，同时威尔士大学拥有非常成功的国际评审局。它为拥有相同学术水平的海外教育机构颁发威尔士大学学位。评审局作为威尔士大学与世界各国的重要联系纽带，其众多毕业生在海外甚有影响地位。去年，威尔士大学海外认证课程的注册学员超过16，000名，已有近4，000名学员取得威尔士大学学位。自1975年起，已有40，000多名学员通过海外认证课程取得学位。

对于威尔士大学所提供的认证课程来说，保持其学术标准至关重要。该大学恰是在这一方面的典范。通过与英国的其它院校进行比较，威尔士大学的课程颇具优越性。另外，近期一份质量保证局独立调查后出具的嘉许报告以及威尔士大学的海外声誉都对此予以充分证实。

2004年威尔士大学委员会就威廉对大学成员、结构和教学模式的推荐报告对该大学的验证和特许经营进行了审查。三名分别来自纽卡索大学、伯明翰大学和圣马丁高等教育学院的成员应邀对联邦大学及其认可院校验证和特许经营的利润与风险进行检验。为了在威尔士大学和更远的大学范围内广泛开展评审工作，考虑到了可以使用的书面证据，如关于对有效与特许经营条款评审的质量保证局的报告。在提供的赞许报告中，专家组强调了该大学长期以来所建立的验证的广泛性、长期性、优质质量和评审局工作人员的辛勤付出。专家组同时相信，通过与认证院校的大力合作，双方可以达到更大程度的互惠互利。

“Validation is the process by which an awarding institution judges that a programme developed and delivered by another institution is of an appropriate quality and standard to lead to its award.” (The Quality Assurance Agency.)

While the majority of the University’s students study in Wales, the University’s very successful and highly regarded international validation operation is also an important dimension of its work. This enables overseas institutions to offer theUniversity of Wales degree at an equivalent standard to the degree offered in Wales itself.  Validation is important in fostering links between Wales and other countries and many of the University’s graduates are now in positions of influence overseas. Last year, more than 16,000 students were registered on validated courses of the University of Wales and nearly 4,000 graduated with the University’s degree.  Altogether, more than 40,000 students have been awarded degrees since the validation operation began in 1975.

The maintenance of academic standards is of paramount importance for validated courses, as it is for courses offered within Wales.  The University is rightly regarded as a role model in this respect.  Its processes compare very favourably with those of other institutions in the UK and the positive report received following a recent independent review, favourable audit reports from the Quality Assurance Agency and the University’s reputation overseas attest clearly to the high esteem in which its validation work is held.

The recent review of the University’s Validation and Franchising was commissioned in 2004 by the University of Wales Council, in response to a recommendation in the Williams Report on the University’s membership, structures and modus operandi.  The three independent panel members, who were drawn from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, the University of Birmingham and St Martin’s College of Higher Education, were asked to examine the benefits and risks of validation and franchising to the federal University and its accredited institutions, To undertake the review they consulted widely, both within the University of Wales and further afield, as well as taking into consideration the available written evidence, such as Quality Assurance agency reports on audits of validated and franchised provision.  In its favourable report on the provision, the panel highlighted the extensive, long-term experience of validation which had been built up by the University over a long period, together with the impressive quality and dedication of the staff of the Validation Unit, and expressed the belief that, with greater collaboration from within the accredited institutions, even more could be achieved of mutual benefit.

英国威尔士大学年度毕业典礼 The Validation Annual Graduation Celebration

威尔士大学每年在卡迪夫举办的毕业庆典上授予认证学位，它标志着毕业学生们的成就。2010年5月，来自17个不同国家（远到中国和日本，近到英格兰和苏格兰）的1000多位宾客齐聚在卡迪夫城市广场，其中包括清华-威尔士学员123名。

自1998年开始，该精彩庆典的规模不断扩大，来自全世界的毕业生和他们的家人及朋友齐聚在卡迪夫共同庆祝。作为该庆典的一部分，大学的长袍制作人Ede 和Ravenscroft在场确保所有毕业生穿着合适的学位服出席这个正式场合。威尔士大学官员在正式活动的过程中要向毕业生表示祝贺。

这一庆典的入场券完全免费，认证课程的全部毕业生将被邀请参加该年度庆典。下次活动将于2011年春季在卡迪夫城市广场举行。

The University of Wales hosts an annual Graduation Celebration in Cardiff to mark the achievements of students graduating with validated awards. In May 2010, more than a thousand guests from seventeen different countries (from as far away as China and Japan to as close as England and Scotland) including 123 graduates of Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen congregated at Cardiff City Hall in Cardiff.

Since its inception in 1998, this colourful event has continued to grow in size as graduates and their family and friends from all over the globe gather in Cardiff to celebrate together. As part of this event, Ede and Ravenscroft - the University’s official robe makers - are on hand to ensure all graduates are attired in the appropriate academic dress for their formal presentation. Officers from the University of Wales also take part to offer their congratulations during the formal proceedings.

The tickets for this event are free and all graduates of validated schemes are invited to join in this annual Celebration. The next event is to be held in Spring 2011 at Cardiff City Hall.

Student Alumni Association has been established to provide platforms of investment, technology and management for graduates and students of RITS. Gatherings among classes are held frequently to enrich students’ network and provide business opportunities. RITS had already completed 30 programme sessions around the whole country, cultivating more than 2000 students who have been awarded the target degree or are studying. On this platform students are able to listen to the speeches made by outstanding people in various industries and find idea partners.

『师资简介』Lectures

姜彦福：

清华大学经济管理学院教授、博士生导师，清华大学经济管理学院技术经济教研室教授，任清华大学中国创业研究中心主任。主要研究领域包括：公司治理、制度创新与技术创新等。目前在清华负责《现代企业制度建设与创新》、《公司治理》等课程，主持多个国家级企业管理科研项目。近期发表的专著和译著有：《技术创新管理》、《风险企业与创业家》。

马永斌：

著名企业战略与公司治理专家，组织理论与领导艺术研究专家，清华大学公共管理博士、副教授。现为清华大学继续教育学院院长助理、研究中心主任，清华大学、北京大学、复旦大学总裁培训班特聘专家。专职从事经营管理、咨询和培训事业，主持策划了一系列总裁修炼与提升和管理方案和咨询方案，为不同行业的国有企业和大型民营企业管理层担任培训指导和战略顾问。

周立：

管理学博士，清华大学经济管理学院教授。主要研究投融资与会计、企业战略选择与执行、创业问题、公共财经，擅用财务与战略贯通的教学风格。

郑晓明：

清华大学经济管理学院教授，北京行为科学学会常务理事，中国管理科学院行为科学研究所所长、研究员，全国心理技术应用研究会理事。

张玉杰：

清华大学经济管理学院博士后，美国关岛大学客座教授，澳大利亚梅铎大学客座教授，清华大学21世纪发展研究院特聘研究员。

李翀：

经济学博士、北京师范大学经济与工商管理学院院长、经济学教授、博士生导师。主要从事世界经济、金融学、西方经济学等领域的研究，全国优秀教师、国家级中青年专家、首批教育部跨世纪优秀人才计划入选者。现任中华外国经济学说研究会副会长兼秘书长、中国世界经济学会副会长、国家社会科学基金学科评审组成员。

徐滇庆：

著名经济学家，“民营银行之父”，北京大学中国经济研究中心教授，中国留美经济学会会长，美国匹兹堡大学博士， 1994年起在加拿大西安大略大学休伦学院经济系任教，为该校终身教授。近年来，他又开始把研究领域聚焦在房地产领域之上，并参与了国家房地产重大政策“国六条”顾问制订工作。

王勇:

著名的项目管理专家，现代卓越集团副总裁，中国标准化委员会（项目管理）专家组主要成员，《项目管理》系列国家标准制订者之一，北京奥组委项目管理咨询顾问。著作有《人――如何成为一名出色的项目经理》、《项目――如何成功地实施项目管理》、《公司——如何提升组织的项目管理能力》等书籍。

李玲瑶:

北京大学国际金融学博士，北大中国金融研究中心特约研究员，现任国内数所大学的客座教授及数家公司的董事长。曾应国务院侨办邀请，参加了35周年和50周年国庆观礼。李博士经常受邀参加一些专题讲座，并在国内外经济杂志上发表经济论文数十篇，著作有《走向成功》。  

任建标：

上海交通大学管理学院副教授，运营与物流管理研究中心副主任，美国新泽西州立大学供应链管理研究中心研究学者。美国国际供应管理协会会员（ISM），美国ISM采购与供应管理认证培训专家，清华大学经济管理学院特聘教授，上海朗讯科技光纤有限公司运营顾问。有多年生产运营咨询实战经验，多项企业咨询项目，致力于中国企业的生产运营效率的改善和提高。

刘凤军：

经济学博士后，中国人民大学工商管理学院教授、博士生导师。中国高等院校市场学研究会理事；北京市工程咨询公司专家委员。主要著作：《品牌运营论》，《市场营销学》，《市场营销理论》，《管理会计》。主要科研项目：《农机市场体系及其运行机制研究》；《市场对接条件下企业营销国际化发展战略研究》；《国有企业市场主体化研究》；《对外贸易与国内市场关系研究》；《企业经营业绩评价问题研究》；《粮产区实施价格收入保护政策研究》。

陈树文：

大连理工大学人力资源管理系主任大连社会保障中心主任，博士生导师，先后参与国际合作、国家自然科学基金，承接辽宁省、山东省地方政府及营口港务集团等大型企业委托的课题多项。先后出版了《组织管理学》、《公共经济学》、《国际贸易》等9部著作。

宁钟：

牛津大学博士后，复旦大学管理学院工会主席、教授、硕士生导师，复旦大学现代物流管理研究中心、复旦大学创业与创业投资研究中心研究员，中国海关三级关务监督。目前主要从事创新与创业、物流与供应链管理等方面的教学与研究。

孟宪忠：

上海交通大学管理学院战略研究所所长、教授、博士生导师。主要从事企业管理、区域经济发展战略研究。先后被评为国务院特殊津贴享受者、国家级有突出贡献专家、中青年专家、国家教育部跨世纪经济学人才。  

国世平：

著名经济学家，国家发改委顾问，国家级有突出贡献专家，深圳大学金融系主任、经济学院国际金融研究所所长、教授、博士生导师。 研究方向为国际金融、港澳经济、中国经济改革与发展。在海内外发表学术论文500余篇，出版 学术著作20多部，有《香港金融监管》、《深港科技合作的十大趋势》、《香港经济的转型及未来繁荣》等。长期担任香港《信报》（财经新闻）、新加坡《企业家》、香港《每周财经动向》的专栏作家。1993年被收入《剑桥名 人录》。

张五常：

世界著名经济学家，为现代新制度经济学创始人之一，美国加州大学经济系博士。曾当选美国西部经济学会会长，是第一位获此职位的美国本土之外的学者。曾作为唯一一位未获诺贝尔奖的经济学者而被邀请参加诺贝尔颁奖典礼。

何帆：

中国社会科学院世界经济与政治研究所所长助理、国际金融研究中心副主任、《世界经济》编辑部主任、世界经济论坛青年全球领袖、《国际经济评论》执行主编。曾主持世界银行、德国阿登纳基金会、东亚发展网络（EADN）、财政部等多项课题。

英国威尔士大学工商管理硕士学位论文写作 Dissertation for MBA of University of Wales

学员完成深圳清华大学研究院培训中心所有指定课程的培养学习后，考试、作业成绩合格者可申请进入英国威尔士大学的论文写作阶段。学员须于修读期内完成一篇约30,000字的毕业论文，该论文为60学分。学员可对其任职机构中所遇到的管理问题作研究专题，对工商管理作广泛及综合性探讨，结合理论及应用于一体。为使学员能更充分掌握论文写作技巧及规范，学院会安排学员修读研究方法。

Candidates who successfully complete the assignments and exams can proceed to the dissertation writing. The dissertation weighs 60 credits with about 30,000 words and it will have the weighting of 60 credits. To fulfil the objective of providing a broadening and integrative investigation of management, dissertations should provide opportunity for evaluation theory in a practical context with allowance of links between theoretical ideas and practice to be developed. The dissertations will normally be based upon an in-depth investigation into managerial problems normally within the student’s own organizations. The preparation of the dissertation is supported by a (non-examinable) seminar programme in research methodology.

出席规定 Attendance Regulation

每一科目的学时不少于该科目总学时的百分之七十五，否则学员将被取消考试资格。
Candidates must have 75% or above in attendance for each module, otherwise, he/she will not be allowed to sit for the examination (except under extenuatory circumstances on a case by case basis only).

成绩评核 Assessment Policy

教授科目：考试（60%）及作业（40%）；或作业（100%）。
Score percentage for taught Modules: Examination (60%) and Coursework (40%); or Coursework (100%).

『学习费用』Tuition Fee

学费：学习费用为人民币90,000元。 分两次交付，学习费用含课程及评估费、教学资源使用费、学籍管理费、综合评审测试费、论文评审费、学位证书及教材费等。

其他费用：

（1）报名费人民币800元（不予退还）；（2）英国威尔士大学国际工商管理硕士学位注册费1000英镑（以英国威尔士大学最新公告为准），由英国威尔士大学卡迪夫总部统一收取。

Tuition fees is RMB 90,000, includes the fees of lectures and assessments, teaching resources use, record management, integrated review and assessments, dissertation assessments, degree certificate, textbooks and so on.

Other fees: (1) Application fee for the programme is RMB 800 (non-refundable);(2) Registration fee of the University of Wales MBA Programme: ￡1000.00 (subject to the latest notice from the University of Wales), will be charged by the Headquarter in Cardiff of the University of Wales.
